Mr. James “Jimmy” Edward Cox, Jr. age 62 of Nashville, TN. passed away on April 1, 2022.
Jimmy was born on October 14, 1959, to the late James Edward Cox, Sr. and Stella Virginia Stephens Cox. He worked at UPS for thirty-six years until retirement. Jimmy was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed flowers and plants.
Survivors include his son, David Cox, daughter, Beth Cox, lifelong friend and mother to his children, Jennifer Cox Phillips, grandchildren, Kiley Garrigus, Bailey McCoy, Ashlynn McCoy, sister, Sheryl (Kevin Jenkins) Cox, niece, Kayla (Travis) McNabb, great niece, Kinsley and great nephew, Kamden.
Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitations for both nights will be held at the Pavilion at Harpeth Hills. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11:30 am with visitation from 10:00 am with service time at 11:30 am at in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
