Of East Amherst, NY; age 85. Beloved husband of 61 years to Frances Mary (nee Pontecorvo) Egloff; devoted father, to James F. Egloff, Susan (Matthew) Rabinowitz, and Jennifer (Christopher) Makowski; loving grandfather, to Mary Grace, Nicholas, and Joseph, Kate (Jakob) Gozdziak, Lauren Rabinowitz, and Zachary Rabinowitz; dear brother of the late George F. Egloff; brother-in-law, of the late Emilia Pontecorvo, late Clelia DiPalma, late Eva Criswell, late Elizabeth DelMonte, and late Theresa Laven; also survived by nieces and nephews. Jim spent his career at Rapid Service Engraving Company, succeeding his father and brother as President in 1994. He was a member of several graphic arts and printing organizations. An active boater, Jim was a past Director of the Buffalo Canoe Club. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6th, from 3-7 p.m. at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (at Hopkins Road). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 7th at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 30 Lamarck Drive, Amherst. Please assemble at church.
