James “Junior” Ernest Enlow, Jr.
Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. James “Junior” Ernest Enlow, Jr., age 87, will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Earle Church of God with Rev. Johnny New and Rev. Eddie Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Earle Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clifford Enlow, Ricky Enlow, Justin Enlow, JoJo Enlow, Josh Enlow, Ian Enlow, and Derrick Sturkie. Mr. Enlow entered into rest on Sunday, February 2, 2025. He was born in Batesburg, SC to the late Mr. James Ernest Enlow, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ella Ruth Warren Enlow and was the loving husband to his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Carolyn Matthews Enlow. Mr. Enlow was of the Holiness faith and attended Bible Believing Independent Holiness Church in Neeses, SC. He worked for 39 years at the Graniteville Company, retiring in 2000. Mr. Enlow also served in the SC National Guard Army for nine years. His hobbies included fishing and going to church. Mr. Enlow was a friendly man who could put a smile on anyone's face. He was loved by his friends and his family, and will be deeply missed. Additional survivors include: two sons Clifford E. Enlow, New Holland, and Richard “Ricky” (Connie) D. Enlow, New Holland; two brothers Larry Enlow and Steve Enlow; six grandchildren Joshua (Jennifer) Enlow, Ashley Enlow, Justin (Kimberly) Enlow, Rachel (Austin) Wood, Joseph “JoJo” (Addison) Enlow, and Ian Enlow; and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Enlow was preceded in death by: one son Todd Enlow; three sisters Claudia Mae Cockrell, Julia Mae Trotter, and Ruthel Boatwright; one brother Rudolph Enlow; and one grandson Brian Enlow. A visitation with the family will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Bible Believing Independent Holiness Church 4616 Nesses Hwy Neeses, SC 29107.
