James Barton Fleming

James was born on November 2, 1922 and passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019. James was a resident of Montana at the time of passing. After graduating from Park County High School in 1940, Jim proceeded to attend and graduate from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering; all of which he was extremely proud of and would share stories with anyone that would listen. When asked why not stay in the Navy, he replied that the choice between the ocean or the mountains of Montana around Livingston; there was no question, he came home. A vigil for Jim will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 16th, 2019, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., Friday morning, May 17th, 2019, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with graveside committal and burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Livingston. Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on May 17, 2019. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Livingston HeathCare Hospice, 320 Alpenglow Ln, Livingston; or St. Mary's Catholic Church, 39 View Vista Dr, Livingston, MT 59047.
