James Fuller Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 12, 2013.
James Clark Fuller was born in Dallas on September 25th, 1953, and passed away to be with the Lord on December 12th, 2013. Preceded in death by his mother, Earline Piper Fuller, father, B.F. (Dick) Fuller and step-son, Colter Dean Bright. Survived by his wife Patsy McDonald Fuller, ex-wife Becky Hayes, son James Brooks Fuller and daughter-in-law Jo, daughter Andrea Sue Bean and husband Tyler, grandson Kasen Elliott Fuller, step-daughter Lauren Bright, step-sons Sam Bright and Byron Rounsavall, and many other family and friends. James and Becky were married for 25 years. He loved his parents very much, and was told long ago that he was "chosen, not had." Patsy and James were inseparable during their three years of marriage, and he loved all his family and friends dearly. James served his country in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1972 during the Vietnam era, but being the only surviving son of the family, he was taken off the plane headed overseas and sent to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Since he was a child, he loved playing baseball, as well as taking apart and re-assembling anything he could get his hands on. He had a varied career involving cars including auto repair in Dallas and started his own business, Fuller's Wrecker Service, in 1985. He was a member of College Mound United Methodist Church and dearly loved his church family. James will be missed by all who knew him. Family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 14 from 5-7 pm at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be Sunday at 2 pm at College Mound United Methodist Church.
