James J. "Jim" Gaidos, 90, of Lancaster passed away on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosalyn M. (Wizar) Gaidos to whom he was wed for 60 years.
Born in Lebanon, PA on January 25th, 1935, he was the son of the late George Gaidos, and the late Mary (Engle) Lane.
Surviving is a daughter, Cindy Sanger, wife of Jeff of Largo, FL; a son, Jim Gaidos, husband of Melanie of Lancaster, PA; two grandchildren, Taylor Sanger, husband of Rachel, Kayla Sanger; and a great grandson, Miles M. Sanger. In addition to his wife, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, George Gaidos, and a sister, Rosalee Gaidos.
Jim enjoyed fishing, Phillies baseball, Eagles football and Penn State College football. He supported senior citizens via the Pennsylvania lottery.
A public visitation will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Kidney Fund, in his memory. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is handling arrangements.
