Jimmy, you will be missed so very much by your family and friends. We shared so many Thanksgiving dinners together, but my fondest memories are from long ago. We would all gather together to see the store windows downtown that were decorated for Christmas. You would always carry me on your shoulders. I lost a boot one time and it took quite a while to find it! You were a wonderful son, a good brother, a great husband and the best father and grandfather. Rest in peace and in God's loving arms, cousin.

Jimmy, you will be missed so very much by your family and friends. We shared so many Thanksgiving dinners at your sister's home, but one of my fondest memories is from long ago. We would all gather together to see the store windows downtown that were decorated for Christmas. You would always carry me on your shoulders. I even lost a boot one time and it took quite a while to find it! You were a wonderful son, a good brother, a great husband and the best father and grandfather. Rest in peace and in God's loving arms, cousin.

My condolences to the Gilpin family. Jim was one of the best bosses (electricians) I have ever worked for/with. I learned a lot from him regarding electrical maintenance and still apply some of the concepts he showed me today in my electrical career. He will be sadly missed.

I just started knowing him personally in the last 10 years and really saw him once a year but what a wonderful man, compassion, gentle, loving, and was a push over for children! He had a great sense of rumor and had some jokes up his sleeve, I will miss his company for sure on the 4th of July

Jim, you always greeted me with "Hey Kiddo", a smile & a hug. I will miss that. Then finding out that you & Gene were distant cousins, it really is a small world. Now it feels even smaller without you in it.

Jim is my spiritual brother and I know is spirit is strong. God blessed me with the opportunity to share a small part of his life. I pray that you find peace in knowing how his spirit has touched so many through song, prayer and a circle that will never be broken. Love and blessings.
