Rest easy jim!!

Here is a photo from Jim's 67 birthday. I made sure to buy him a cake for his birthday that year so he could celebrate. I, and several others, made sure to sit with Jim at the hospital when he had his cancer/kidney removed.

I sat with Jim almost daily at Jackson Coffee Company for many years. He was a staple downtown and was loved by many. This news has hit us very hard at the coffee shop.

Jim was a simple man who loved unconditionally. Jim gave what he had to give. He gave of his time. He gave rides to those in need downtown. Although Jim was never financially stable he still found $5 to give to the less fortunate downtown.

Jim, thank you for the many years of friendship and conversation.
