James Vincent Giuliani

Surrounded by his family, James Vincent "Babe" Giuliani, age 89, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Mingo Junction, Ohio on February 23, 1930 to James Giuliani and Carmela Ardito Giuliani DiCarolis. Babe graduated from Mingo High School, served in the US Army, was employed as a coal miner with Consol Mining Company and later as a maintenance team member for Jefferson County, Ohio. Babe was an avid Notre Dame sports fan and was never happier than when his team won. He enjoyed gardening, having coffee with his best friend and spoiling the family dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Pete DiCarolis; and brother Louis Giuliani. Babe is survived by his children Angela Kerr and husband Chris and Jim Giuliani and wife Deana; former wife Darlene Giuliani; grandchildren Candice Morse, Colleen Litwin, Caylin Kerr, Christopher Kerr, Lauren Giuliani, and Allison Giuliani; as well as numerous other relatives and a lifetime of friends. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 and the Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 with both held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Leon Springs, Texas. Interment of Babe's cremated remains will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio once the weather is more favorable.
