James was born on March 16, 1941, to Franz and Magdalena (Meier) Glatt. He married Charlotte Kudrna on July 9, 1966. James was engaged in farming and ranching his entire life.
James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charlotte (Cheri) Glatt, Napoleon; sisters, Viola Becker, Napoleon, Phyllis Weninger, Minneapolis, MN, Delores Wentz, Fargo, Helen Regner, Kintyre, Irene Enzminger, West Fargo and Donna Aberle, West Fargo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franz and Magdalena Glatt; brother, Myron Glatt and sister, Marion Doll.
