A Graveside Service for James “Terry” Glover, 70, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment will take place there at a later date. A visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Pascal Stowell.
Terry was born on November 20, 1955 in Crenshaw, Mississippi to Jessie B. Glover and Katherine Allred Glover and passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Shreveport. Terry spent his career as a painting contractor. His passion for the outdoors included hunting and fishing. His other passion was spending as much time as possible with his family. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie B. (Jack) Glover, and Katherine Allred Glover; Mary Katherine Conoway, Nancy Louise Glover, Stanley Conoway, Jr., and Glen Otis Conoway. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, his wife, Mary Catherine Glover; sons, James “Daniel” Glover and wife Melody, and “Phillip” Todd Dale and wife, Natalie; grandchildren, Madison and Marley Glover, Gavin, Myles, and Ryder Waldron, Cameron Dale and wife, Cassandra, and Justin Dale; siblings, Shirley Vanman, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Elton and Vikki Glover, Keithville, Louisiana, Melton Glover, Strayhorn, Mississippi, Randy and Wilma Glover, Olive Branch, Mississippi, Sharon Roberts and James Chambers, Coldwater, Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honoring Terry as pallbearers will be Daniel Glover, Philip Dale, Randy Glover, Elton Glover, Melton Glover, Justin Dale, Cameron Dale, and Trey Glover. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Reames.
Terry will be terribly missed but we will always love him and cherish his memory.
