My family became patients of Dr. Gray while he was physician for Vermont Marble Co. in Proctor back in 1964. I had the highest regard for the skilled doctor that he was. Always pleasant and spent as much time with each patient as needed. I remember him giving me a ride home one night as I was his last patient of the night and him telling me I was truly his last patient; that he was retiring. I was saddened by that.
Sometimes I have this knack of knowing things without knowing them.
I thought of Dr. Gray on Saturday, November 8th. I told myself I'd like to see him just once more. Rest in peace Dr. Gray.
