James Green Obituary
Died: November 5, 2025
James Green, age 80, of Del Rio passed away on Wednesday, November, 5, 2025, with family by his side.
He was a active member of the Ravens Branch Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel David Green and Dora Rollins Green; siblings, Charlie Green, Theodore Green, Earl Green, John GreenJulia Coggins, Pauline Presnell, Paralee Coggins and Edith Hunt.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Evangeline Green of Del Rio; sisters, Bonnie Hall of Del Rio and Shirley Rathbone of Hartford; nieces, Sue (Ken) Presnell of orth Carolina, Theresa (Michael) Sather of Dandridge, Jennifer (Bobby) Baxter, of Del Rio, Genevive " Iambabe " (Caleb) Frisbee of Del Rio, Jordyn (Jaelyn) Frisbee of Del Rio; also other family and friends.
Special Thanks to Steve and Tresha Weeks, Cosby Grey Eagles, Galen Keller, thanks all for the prayers and everything you did for James, Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, Debbie Williams, Angie and Casey.
He was a loving brother and uncle who loved to fish and play his five-string banjo and attend church.
The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Friday, November 7, 2025 with the funeral service following at 7 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rex Greene officiating.
Burial will be held 12 noon Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the Laws-Green Cemetery.
