JAMES EDWARD "SPECK" GREGORY, 77 OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, Louisiana OAK GROVE - Funeral services for James Edward "Speck" Gregory, age 77, of Oak Grove, will be held at 2PM on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the Thomas Jason Lingo Community Center in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Reverends Mike Ray and Carl Gulde will officiate. Burial will follow in the Forest Corner Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mr. Gregory died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee W. Gregory and Gettie Meadows Gregory, and a sister, Juanita Gregory Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Melba L. Gregory of Oak Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Dianne Gregory of Oak Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Pat Gregory of Oak Grove; grandson and his wife, Kenneth and Kelly Gregory of Oak Grove; grandson and his wife, Ryan and Anna Gregory of Monroe, Louisiana; granddaughter, Jessica Gregory of Monroe, Louisiana; granddaughter, Kelly Gregory of Monroe, Louisiana; grandson, Cody Gregory of Oak Grove; great grandchild, Kenslee Gregory of Oak Grove; great grandchild, Katy Grace Gregory of Oak Grove; cousins, Wayne and Bonnie Jean Gregory of Oak Grove; cousin, Mollie Jo Allen of Kilbourne, Louisiana; cousin, Justin Gregory of Oak Grove; cousin, Melissa Gregory of Houston, Texas. Pallbearers are: Jimmy Orr, Ted Peacock, Scott Costello, Steve Dooley, Vic Dalrymple, and Trent Allen.
