James William Hackley

I enjoyed visiting James and talking about old times. My family and I visited his father's home often; my sister Sally and I sometimes stayed for a week in the summer. We saw James when we were on the farm. I married and had kids, it had been years since I had seen James, my husband and I went to Orlean and as I came out of the store I saw this good looking man with beautiful blue eyes; I asked "are you James", he said, "yes". It had probably been 35 years since I had seen him. We kept in touch after that. I'll miss talking to him and hearing his voice. One of my good childhood memories is of James. I'm glad we kept in touch in later years.
