James Hamann Obituary
James enjoyed playing horseshoes with his dad, Armin, and reading books to his adored granddaughters. He loved spending time outdoors on camping and float trips. James loved spending time with his family and caring for his beloved cats.
James passed away on September 24, 2024, in New Baden, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Armin Hamann; mother, Norma Jean Trentman Hamann; brother, William E. Lewis Jr.; nephew, Jerrod Black; brother-in-law, Lacy Boyer, and good friend, Mark Rafferty.
James is survived by his wife, Carrie Hamann; daughters, Brittany Henningfeld (Ryan) and Brianna Hamann; granddaughters, Lux and Everly Henningfeld; sisters, Lori Mustain (Jim), Diana Lewis, and Sandra Lewis Herzog (Scot Dunn); sister-in-law, Mary Weinert; brother-in-law, Will Boyer (Donna); good friend, Scott Bourbon and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 1pm at the Albers JC Hall.
