James Hamilton Obituary
James was a veteran of the United States Navy, member of the Chapel of Praise Church and was the owner and operator of the Deluxe Dry Cleaners for over 25 years.
Survivors include his wife Alta Craddock Hamilton, son Trent Hamilton, daughter Tammy (the late Andrew) Tipton, Tonda (Steve) Kavanaugh, sisters Lois Hoess, Geneva Caldwell, 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his son Abram (Michelle) Hamilton and sister Doris Jean Hess.
Graveside service will take place at Cookendorfer Family Cemetery at Kincaid Lake State Park on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm with full military honors, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to DAV Charitable Service Trust at 860 Dolwick Drive Erlanger, KY 41018.
