James Hascup Obituary
James was born on September 2, 1942 in Paterson, NJ to the late James and Anna Hascup. They spent summers in Lake Stockholm, NJ where he started his lifelong love of hunting.
James met the love of his life, Catherine, in 1965 and they had been married for 57 years.
James was a successful businessman/owner of A.W. Meyer Co. Inc, a passionate hunter/traveler worldwide, a recipient of so many hunting/conservation awards to list, Turkey Men book written about his achievements, a collector of many things, a stern but generous person, a great storyteller, gave the best hugs, a good friend, a man who loved his family dearly, a life truly lived and well lived.
James was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Martin (William), and is survived by wife Catherine T. Hascup, son Keith Hascup, grandson James F Hascup III, daughter Rachel Kirchner (Kevin), grandkids Cora Kirchner and Owen Kirchner.
A private ceremony was held at cemetery in Paterson. And a Celebration of Life will be held in a June of 2024 in Ringwood NJ and friends and family will be notified of details.
James memories will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
