James M. Hedberg

Jim Hedberg has been a part of our lives as Conover residents since September 1974 when we moved to COn9over from Eagle River. He was the Town Clerk and later Clerk/Treasurer for almost all of the intervening years, until he stepped down to become the deputy zoning supervisor. Northern Lakes Girl Scout Service Area--comprising girls and their families in Conover, Land O' Lakes, Phelps, St. Germain, Sayner, Eagle River, Three Lakes, Sugar Camp and the townships of Washington, Cloverland and Lincoln have been given much consideration as to the use of Conover Community sledding hill and the Community Building for activities over these years. Jim;s unfailing thoughtfulness and help was always there. I cannot say enough good things about him as a person and a town official.
