Mr. James (Scooter) Edward Heiligh, age 75 passed on, September 9, 2025. He was born in Rowan County on, January 16, 1950 to the late James Edward McIntyre and the late Ellen Robertson Heiligh and raised by his step-father, Harvey Lee Robinson. He was educated in the public schools of Salisbury. He was a self-employed auto body specialist. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and "paw paw". He loved his family dearly and will be solely missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Rev. Mary McIntyre and Ellen Robinson and by his maternal grandmother, Alice Heiligh.

Those who will forever cherish his memory are his sons; James Carr (Gloria) of Charlotte; James Woodruff (Tara) of Suffolk, Va., daughters; Sherry James (Allen) of Salisbury; Cassondra Heiligh, Winston-Salem; Toronda Massey, Charlotte and Janet Woodruff, Salisbury; brothers; Harvey Ray Robinson and David Robinson both of Salisbury; sisters; Barbara Robinson, Doris Robinson both of Salisbury and Beverly McIntyre (Henry) of Cleveland; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A Service of Celebration and Love will be held on, Friday, September 26, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 2865 Enon Church Road, Salisbury, NC. Visitation: 11:30-12:00. Service begins promptly at 12:00. Rev. Jerry Miller, pastor/eulogist.

Committal service with military honors will be held at 12:30 pm on, Monday, September 29, 2025 at the National Cemetery, located at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC.
