Jim was my uncle. Jim & parents Louis & Myrtle moved from Chicago to Oregon the year Jim graduated high school. Every so often Jim would come back to visit the Chicago relatives. The last time we all went out to dinner & on the way home, Jim left his eye glasses in the back seat of the car. An hour later we got home & he was calling us on the phone asking us to bring his glasses before he left the next day. So my sister Mary & I drove all the way back to Chicago area to return his glasses. We had several good laughs about that night. Jim was a great guy & he will be missed.

I met Jim in 1985 when we worked in the same office building. He would stop by with his cup of coffee and talk awhile. Soon we were having our weekly lunch together. Where the conversation would flow about his upcoming trips with Donna. They invented us to join them in Maui. We all had a good time. In the past few years, we would talk a couple times a week. Sometimes making bets on ball games with Ray. We miss those calls now! He was a good friend! Love, Julie & Ray Gellings

I will miss talking Norte Dame football and Pilot basketball. I already miss seeing your Norte Dame flags. Prayers for you.
