James Albert Horne

James Albert Horne, age 89 of Towson, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 8, 2022. Born in Bayside, New York, Mr. Horne was a graduate of Vermont Academy and St. Lawerence University. He was also a graduate of The Provost Marshall General's School. He was a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and Military Police until his discharge in 1958.

Mr. Horne retired in 1999. Prior to his retirement, he was a Regional Sales Manager for Filter Specialist, Inc.

Son of the late Albert and Ruth Horne of Roslyn, New York. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Horne Becker, and brother-in-law, George E. Becker of Manhasset, New York.

Mr. Horne is survived by his loving wife, Elvira Mary Horne, of 57 years. He is also survived by his two daughters and son-in-laws; Lisa Horne Cordisco and Mark Cordisco, Leslie Horne Munson and Jeffrey Lawerence Munson and three grandchildren Mark James Cordisco, Eric Bowen Munson and Georgia Munson.

Family and friends are invited to Ruck Funeral Home on August 15, 2022 at 3-6 PM. A church service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 Allegheny Avenue, Towson, MD on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10 AM. The internment will immediately follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E Padonia Road, Timonium, MD.
