Jaime was my dear friend for over a decade. I don't recall how we met, I just remember us always being friends. Jaime was the kind of guy who showed up for his friends. If I invited him to a comedy show I was doing or a party or concert, he came. If I asked him for help with ANYTHING, ... I mean it, from furniture moving to dog sitting to rinsing out a buttload of tie dye I had done, Jaime was always so happy to help.
Then, he started doing the Santa thing. Every December, I have a huge event called "The Flinging of the Balls". Jaime was always our Santa at the flinging. That is where a lot of these photos were taken.
There are photos of him showing off the Ron Shock t-shirt I got him, a pic of a kitchen party with Belgian friends and my personal favorite, a shot of my dog, Gilda Radner, using Jaime's foot for a pillow. When a dog sits or lays on your foot, they are claiming you as "theirs". That pretty much sums up how we all felt about Jaime, he was ours.
The most gentle, loving and caring soul. I miss him.
