James Hudson Obituary
After graduating from Groom High School in 1961, he attended Texas Tech University where he was a Saddle Tramp and a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
He enjoyed a variety of careers which utilized his talents for promoting and selling. The music business brought him to Austin in the 1980's.
He was an avid cook who enjoyed making favorite family dishes at Thanksgiving.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl Hudson and sister Jane Burroughs.
He leaves behind son Stephen and wife Toni of Temple, Texas, and grandson Charles; daughter Hillary and husband Brad Stull of San Antonio, Texas, and grandchildren Spencer and Sarah: brother Thomas and wife Joyce of Overland Park, Kansas and niece Brooke; niece Anna and husband Daniel Rios, and great-niece Ella Grace and nephew Josiah Burroughs (from his late sister Jane.
Celebration of life will be scheduled at later date.
