James Anthony Hughes, beloved father and cherished friend, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on February 14, 1960, James was known for his loving, caring, and happy disposition, qualities that touched the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Throughout his life, James exemplified what it meant to be a supportive and devoted friend. His warmth and kindness made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. He had an innate ability to lift the spirits of those around him, instilling a sense of joy and comfort in both casual interactions and deeper conversations.
James's legacy will be honored with a series of memorial services. A viewing will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX, on November 21, 2025. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during two viewing sessions: the first from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Following the viewings, a Prayer Service will commence at 8:30 PM and conclude at 9:30 PM, at the same location.
On November 22, 2025, a Funeral Service will be held at ONE FAMILY FELLOWSHIP, 13501 Timothy Lane, Balch Springs, TX, starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM. This service will provide an opportunity for loved ones to come together to reflect on his remarkable life and the joy he brought to their lives.
