I had the prestigious honor of knowing and working with the #OldMan, as his students called him upon his request, at Danbury High School, 1963-1964, especially during the production of Music Man, the last musical at DHS on White Street before the new DHS on Clapboard Ridge. I was elected to Connecticut All-State as First Tenor at Wilton High School. After my parents separated in 1963, I traveled to Storrs, CT, with DHS fellow All-Staters to perform at the University of Connecticut in Fall 1963. Mr. Humpreville is infamously known as The Music Man. RIP #OldMan

I am so sorry. He was truly one of the best. I always enjoyed our little chats at the pharmacy and I will miss him. Auf wiedersehen my dear friend.
