James R. Irwin II

My deepest condolences to the family of a great man. I first Mr. Irwin in the 80's, I was in my early twenties at the time. I have a severe hearing impairment. I was struggling to find a job because I could not use the phone very good. He help me get a Phonic Ear for the phone and it changed my whole life. I loved visiting with him. I loved listening to his stories. He was extremely helpful to me with the depression I had because of my hearing loss. Because of him I kept seeking farther and now I am proud to say I am a recipient of a Cochlear Implant all because of Mr. Irwin. He taught me to never give up. My implant has been a blessing. Just as Mr. Irwin always was a blessing to me. Thank you Mr. Irwin I will greatly miss you. But, I will still talk to you in my prayers.

I never met him but talked to him once. He was fun. Sorry I never got to meet him.

My heartfelt condolences to the Irwin family. Jim made such a great contribution to the AHPC Choir, and I so enjoyed him being a part of the group while I was choir director. He always had a joke, a silly pun, and a smile. My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Dear Pam, Emily and Andrew
I am so sorry for your loss. I for one will truly miss him! I will miss his out of nowhere phone calls and his funny jokes (Yes, they were dry sometime, but funny!) He was a hoot!!! He was practically like family to me ever since I started working with you Pam. If any of you ever need anything you know I am here always. I love y'all and you are all in my thoughts, heart and prayers. Heaven just received another angel...

Pam, I am sad and sorry for your loss of Jim which happened too soon. As a relative on his mother's side, I am grateful for the work he did to find history of the Pulliam family and share with the rest of us. His work down here may be done, but from all I know about him he has left a cherished legacy and he will be long remembered. Rest in peace, Jim Irwin.
