Departed this life July 31st, 2024. James L. Jackson Jr., age 82, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Frances Jackson; one daughter, Donna Green(Lonnie); two grandchildren, BriAnna Thweatt and Bryan Jackson; one sister, Valerie Burton; two brothers, Abdul Madyun(Eunis) and Herbert Jackson(Phylis); one aunt, one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters- in- law, Evelyn Hope and Joyce Hopkins; one brother- in- law, Howard Hope(Virginia) and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Jackson can be viewed Thursday from 10AM to 8PM and where the family will receive friends Friday at 12 noon followed by funeral at 1PM. Interment private.
