James Richard "Jim" Quarles passed away at his home in Dandridge on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
He is survived by his children, James (Jenny) Warren, Billy (Carrie) Quarles, and Teresa (Ron) Buckner; grandchildren, James Warren, Jonathan (Felicia) Cate, Tia (Robbie) Brown, Brandon Cate, Caitlyn Rogers, Christopher Quarles, and Alyssa Quarles; great-grandchildren, Alek Williams, Chevy Brown, and Owen Cate; sister, Jean Quarles; former wife, Diane Quarles; girlfriend, Sandy Stuart; several special nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Rev. Mike Hensley will officiate the funeral service, which will be held at 6PM Friday, August 1, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home of Dandridge. The family will receive friends from 4PM to 6PM prior to the service. Interment will take place at 10AM, Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Hills Union Cemetery.
