James L. Boyd better known as Jimmy, age 76 of Lafayette, TN passed away early Friday morning, January 19, 2024 at TriStar Skyline in Nashville, TN. Jimmy is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Funeral Services for Jimmy Boyd will be conducted Sunday afternoon, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Ricky Wilson & Elder Bengie Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin Saturday at noon until his service Sunday at 2:00 pm.
Family request memorials be made to Grandchildren’s Education Fund. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by Parents, George Ann & Delsie Law Boyd, Son-in-law, Todd Whitley, Sisters, Ann Pollard & Shirley Boyd, Brothers, Hugh Boyd, Neil Boyd, & Ronnie Boyd.
Survivors include: Wife, Judy Boyd, Daughter, Cindy Boyd Whitley, Son, Michael Boyd & Companion, Dana Lee, Grandson, Damien Boyd, Granddaughters, Chelsey Whitley, Taylor Whitley, Grandsons, Ryder Boyd, Jaxtyn Boyd, Great-Granddaughter, Lucy Boyd, Brothers, Darrel Boyd all of Lafayette, Gary & Sharon Boyd, Danny & Connie Boyd all of Bowling Green, Sister, Jo Carolyn Yelvington of Knoxville, Sisters-in-law, JoNell Wilburn, Mary Dee Smith, Pam & K.C.
