James Johnson Obituary
He was born in Ware County on July 19, 1973, to Robert Leon Johnson and Myra Douglas Johnson. He was a 1992 graduate of Ware County High School and continued his education at Georgia Southern University. James worked for many years as a bank auditor with the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, and he most recently joined his wife in operating the family business, Maryland Fried Chicken. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Waycross.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Leon Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia Lee Johnson of Waycross; a stepdaughter, Maggie Barnes (Jordan Carter) of Waycross; his mother, Myra Douglas Johnson of Waycross; his brother, Ricky Johnson of Waycross; and his beloved cats, Earl and Elsa.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday at Oakland Cemetery.
