I knew Jim from Garfield elementary all through College High. He was an extremely nice person . He will be missed by many. My regrets to his family

I'm sad to hear of Jim's passing.

I worked with him in Bartlesville and Borger. He was the smart one; always willing to share a better idea with the rest of us. His "hiking" exploits were always understated but you could see the passion that he had for them.

I'm glad I got to know and work with Jim.

I never had the honor of meeting Jim. I feel the beautiful mark he left on the world, especially through Steve and Dawn, two of the most wonderful souls I´ve ever had the good fortune to know.

The love and light he shared clearly live on in them and in all those whose lives he touched.

Wishing peace and comfort to everyone who loved him.

Linda- my heart is so sad about Jim but I am comforted that I got to know him. I considered him a good friend. Take care of yourself and let me know if I can do anything. Fondly, Ellen Yarrell

Dear Linda, Stephen and Chris,
My heart goes out to you for the loss of Jim´s life. What a tragedy. He was an amazing man. Clayne and I were remembering the Thanksgiving he taught the boys how to carve a turkey. And cut the platter of cheese and tomatoes in perfect identical slices for the caprese salad! He never boasted of his climbing accomplishments but what a courageous adventurer he was! Mom used to say that trait came from Granny/ Miss Mollie Jones, his grandmother. Jim was the last of the Jones cousins so they are back together and I am sure watching over us all. Love, Aubra

Although my heart aches with his loss, I find comfort in the joyful memories I hold of Jim. I´ll never forget our drive up Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park-it still makes me smile. And Lyra continues to cherish the night Linda and Jim took her to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle, giving Steve and me the gift of a Paris evening to ourselves. Jim was the most wonderful father-in-law I could ever have hoped for. You´ll be missed always, Jim.
