James Joyner Obituary
James “Jimmy” Phelon Joyner, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 8. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Jimmy is survived by his sons, Jeff Joyner and wife, Nancy of Lexington and step-son, David Pearson and wife, Amy of Bailey; grandsons, Ryan Joyner and wife, Jennifer and their daughter, Evelyn of Kernersville, and Jeremy Joyner of Lexington; granddaughter, Kellie Pearson Glover and husband, Charlie and their children, Ayden, Avalynn, and Adaleigh of Spring Hope; grandson, Joshua Pearson and wife, Laura and their daughters, Piper and Tessa of Nashville; and granddaughter, Pamela Pearson Martin and husband, Chris and their daughters, Paisley and Bristol of Bailey.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Elizabeth Joyner; wife, Edythe Woodard Joyner; step-son, Barney Cecil Pearson, Jr.; and step-daughter, Pamela Kaye Pearson.
