I must say I truly love Jimmy Kearney. I worked with him at east boston high school for many years. He and Anthony Albano were my two go to people when I served as assistant headmaster for over 20 years.. while at East Boston high school he fell in love with our school nurse Jane Simpson a match made in heaven. Jimmy always had a smile on his face and also put smiles on everybody´s face that hecame in contact with him. He will be truly missed and I send a huge hug to Jane

Please accept my sincere condolences with the loss of Jimmy. Jim and I became friends years ago when he played football for the East Boston Fittons and I with the Charlestown Townies. We were fierce rivals on the football field and as the years past, we became good friends. Jimmy was a true "Boston" guy, he was known throughout every neighborhood in Boston either through his position as referee or his active participation in community activity.
Jim was a member of our committee that planned and hosted a Boston Park League Football Reunion in 2013 which was a huge success.
He will be missed by all, Rest in Peace my friend,

Jim was one of the nicest people I've ever met in the Boston Public Schools. His passing is a huge loss to anyone that was fortunate to know him. Sending you all my deepest sympathy and condolences. May his memory be a blessing. Jodie Elgee
