I never know what to place here, being I'm not overly mushy, most likely a Jake trait :) I thought back through all the years Jim was a part of my life, back as far as I can remember a million crazy, funny stories flooded in. I picked one of the earliest memories I had of him. Our first fathers day was also one of the first with out my own dad who had passed away. School had us make fathers day cards, I cried the whole way home, refusing to give this new man in our lives a card that said DAD in large blue letters across the front of a neck tie made of construction paper. I stomped in with all the attitude an 8 year old could muster up only to be shot down quick with the bluntness that would set the the foundation for years of these exact moments. He came to me later and explained he didn't need to be called Dad nor did he want to be, but we could find something that worked for times like this. Its then that Bud was made, all the years following Bud was who I argued with and tested his limits, realizing now thats what we do to our parents, and how I am who I am today for knowing Bud and how much I wanted Bud to be part of my daughters life for that reason. Jim will be missed by many, Jake by even more, but few got to know that Bud. Rest in Peace and know your thought of all the time.

Brother Jim ~ Remembering all the fun and great times we shared growing up. To this day, I laugh when I think about some of the crazy things you did! There was never a dull moment. I still see the expression on Dad's face, placing his hand on his bald spot, shaking his head, and saying to Mom, "Where did we ever go wrong?" I often thought about your Navy photography years having it's start in the "attic dark room" when you were in high school!! Missing and loving you forever ~~~ RJ (My nickname from your Navy years)

Alittle over a year ago I lost my Mother,This past week we lost her Best Friend, Lover,and Soul Mate. Rest in Peace Bud,You will be missed.
