James Killius Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. - Sterling Heights on Oct. 24, 2025.
KILLIUS, James David "Jim". Suddenly on September 15, 2025. Age 69. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee: Seibert) for 39 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Marie, Stephen, and Scott Killius. Dearest brother of Gerry Killius (the late Debbie). Predeceased by his loving parents Glenn and Irene Killius. Also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Jim had a strong, unshakable Christian faith and led his family by example; he was involved in his church teaching Awana and children's Sunday school with Jackie. He was an avid fan of Detroit sports and U of M football; he especially loved to golf and travel with his best friend, Jackie and their kids. More than anything else in his life Jim had a deep unwavering love for his family and would do everything he could to ensure they were happy. He was genuine, kind, funny, and had a big heart; Jim will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Visitation Sunday 3-8pm. Funeral Monday 12 noon at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation or Autism Speaks are appreciated. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook at WujekCalcaterra.com
