James E. Kirk, of Kansas City, MO, died peacefully in his sleep on 02/13/2026.
James was born in Dayton, OH, on August 4, 1970. He moved to Kansas City, MO, in the early 90s, making it his forever home.
James was preceded in death by his parents, William and Georgia Kirk, and his sister, Lillie Shiverdecker.
James is survived by his birth mother, Stephanie Hayes; four brothers; two sisters; his wife, Ramona Kirk; and five sons: James/Rebekah Kirk, Johnathan/Tua Thomas, Robert/Juan Kirk-Ferrer, Michael/Janet Kirk, and Jacob/Shawnte Kirk.
James had 12 grandchildren he loved very much and too many nieces and nephews to count. He also leaves behind many, many great friends. He was always there to help anyone who needed it.
A celebration of life will be held March 14th.
