James Frederick Klass

James Fredrick "Klass", 75 years, of Buford GA, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. He fought a long, hard, courageous battle with prostate cancer and passed peacefully. Klass is now with our Heavenly Father. Klass was born on August 5, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Robert Hartman Klass and Aleen Junge Klass. He is preceded in death by brother Robert "Bobby" Klass and survived by his sister, Kathryn Ann Klass and his wife of 14 years, Julia Finocchi Klass and step-son Blake Finocchi. Klass received his education at The University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! He proudly served our country in the National Guard. Through his adult life, Klass resided in Buford, Georgia. Klass was a faithful, Godly Christian who was very much loved by his North River Church family. For the past 23 ½ years, Klass has been a proud, grateful, and sober member of Alcoholic Anonymous. He is loved and respected by many, just as he has loved them. A Celebration of Life will be held at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, Georgia, on Saturday, December 7th at 11:00 am with Dr. James Street officiating. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to a Reception in the Magnolia Room at the funeral home. Any donations can be made to the American Cancer Society for Prostate cancer.
