James L. Kracker, a cherished husband, dad, grandpa, and friend, peacefully departed this life on August 10, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on June 10, 1936, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late Chester and Carrie Kracker, Jim spent his life as a dedicated mechanic and farmer. Jim's life was filled with love, hard work, and the joys of the great outdoors. He was a proud member of the Richville United Church of Christ and proudly served his country as an Army veteran. His work ethic was remarkable, reflecting a deep sense of responsibility and care that was evident in every task he undertook.

An avid outdoorsman, Jim found joy in camping, fishing, and boating. His culinary skills were unmatched, as he took great pleasure in cooking for family gatherings, and bringing everyone together around the dinner table.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandi Westfall; nephew, Todd Kracker; and siblings, Jane Barnhouse and Jack Kracker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 66 years, Nancy (Bruder) Kracker; daughters, Lori (Christopher) Tully, Sheri (Patrick) Tilton; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and sister, Carol Clark.

A private service will be held for family and close friends. Those wishing to send condolences may visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to share a fond memory and sign the online guestbook.
