James Krause Obituary
James Joseph Krause, Jr., 76, loving husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully at home with family on November 15, 2023. Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Jim was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Rider College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Spring Garden Institute, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for Advanced Mechanics. He was an ASE certified mechanic in Volvo and VW and worked in Central NJ & PA as a mechanic in his younger years and as a wholesale parts & service manager later in life. Throughout the years, Jim achieved many awards and achievements from Volvo & VW for his performance. Retiring in the early 2000's, Jim enjoyed spending time at the lake, traveling, hunting, trying new recipes, working as a handyman with his own business and spending time with his grandkids and family.
Jim is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Krause; son, James J. Krause, III and wife Karen; daughter, Kimberlee A. Roberson and husband Larry; grandson James Weisneck, Jr., his brother, David Krause and wife Sharon of North Carolina; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, James & Jeane Krause, Sr. of Trenton, NJ and his first wife, Patricia Sickles Krause.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Jim did not wish to have a viewing. We will be having a graveside service at the family plot in Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Tennent, NJ in the coming weeks. Details to follow on this page, as well as Facebook.
