James Joseph Krob

James Joseph Krob, 95 of Bridgeport passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital. He was born July 1, 1929, the son of the late Joseph and Christine (Kubalek) Krob, in Lansing, OH.
He was retired owner and operator Jos. Krob Dairy of Lansing, a lifetime member of the Lansing United Methodist Church, a member of the Masonic– Blue Lodge #181 of Bridgeport and the Steubenville Scottish Rite #320. Jim was a proud graduate of Bridgeport High School, class of 1947, and was a member of the Bridgeport Alumni Hall of Fame.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Krob, and sister, Marie Lucki.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Helen (Bauman) Krob, children, Robert (Jamie) Krob of Canton, OH, Tina (Ken) Gimlin of Virginia Beach, VA, and Nancy (Matt) Pennington of Lansing, OH, daughter-in-law, Holly Krob of New Richmond, OH, sister, Mildred Brown, of Tavares, FL, grandchildren, Emily Gimlin, Alex (Rosie) Krob, Jorie and Jennie Krob, Wyatt Bishop, Aaron Pennington, Nick (Emma) Pennington, great-grandsons, J.J. Bishop and Parker Krob, nieces, Sandee (Jay) Morgan, Diane Donkersloot, Holly Tabbenor, Tawnee Brown, and special family friend, Miriam Sanders.
Family and friends will be received, Friday, December 27, 2024, from 2- 4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912, Masonic Services will be at 7pm in the funeral home, and Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Lansing United Methodist Church, 55123 Greenbank Ave., Lansing, OH from 10 till time of service at 11:30am with Rev. John Jackson officiating. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove, OH.
