James M. "Jim" "Mouse" Lambert
April 9, 1971 ~ June 9, 2025
James M. "Jim" "Mouse" Lambert, 54, of Marion, passed away at 4:10 pm on Monday, June 9, 2025, in his home. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, April 9, 1971, to Cecil Jerry and Cathy (Underwood) Lambert. Jim met his soulmate Melissa Brannen and shared many memories together.
He worked as a supervisor for 28 years with Wabash National Trailer Manufacturing and then worked at Haynes in Kokomo. Jim was dedicated to his family and friends. He was an outgoing man who never met a stranger. Jim liked hunting, fishing, reloading, and trapping. He also liked gardening and tinkering in his garage.
In addition to his soulmate, Melissa Brannen of Marion, Jim is survived by his daughters, Josie (William McKay) Lambert of Kokomo and Emma Lambert-Boyer of Kokomo; sister, Michele Lake of Marion; special brother-in-law, Glen Lake "A Country Boy Can Survive"; nephew, Jarrod (Tiffany Nicholas) Hisey; great-nephews, Jaxon and Landon; great-niece, Allison; special cousins, Scott Gunter, Rick Reyes, Deuce Lambert, Teresa Willmann and Josh Willmann; best friends, Steve Kirkwood, Rodney Wimmer, Charles Draper and Gary Watson; the owner of the cleanest guns in Grant County, Charlie (Pat) Hosale; his beloved dog, Ellie; plus, many extended family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Cecil Jerry Lambert; mother, Cathy L. Lambert; and son, Brandon Michael Lambert.
The family will host a celebration of Jim's life at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
