James Lester Larkin

James Lester Larkin of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on June 25, 2010. He was born in Moorhead, Minnesota on July 30, 1929 to Lester Larkin and Anastasia Rudolph. He served in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1951. James was a Diplomat for 36 years for the United States Department of State. He married Anna Economou and they travelled all over the world during their marriage. He retired in 1987 in San Antonio and was a member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. He is preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Larkin; sisters, Alice Otterstetter and Ellen Grose. James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anna Larkin; son, Michael Larkin and wife, Laura of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter, Julia Miller and her husband, Roland of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Anna Sophia Miller, James Miller, Neil Larkin, Reid Larkin and sister in law, Muriel Larkin.
