James Mitchium (Mitch) Lee

James Mitchium “Mitch” Lee, a 49-year-old resident of White, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2026. Born on December 30, 1976, in Franklin, Georgia, Mitch was the son of the late Cecil and Barbara Reddick Lee. He was a lifelong citizen of Screven County, Georgia, and was one of seven siblings. Tragically, he was preceded in death by his siblings Jamie Lee and Melissa Shields. Mitch is survived by his brothers and sisters, Ray, Rhonda, Vhonda, and Donna, along with his extended family and friends who cherished him.

Mitch was the proud father of three sons, Cody, Jacob, and Logan Lee. His sons were the center of his universe, and he held a deep love for them throughout his life. He also leaves behind his wife, Barbara, and her daughter, Lilly.

Known for his sense of humor, loyalty, and love for the outdoors, Mitch was often found on muddy dirt roads. Those who knew him fondly remember his laughter, generosity, stubborn streak, and unwavering willingness to help others. He lived life on his own terms and left an indelible mark on those closest to him.

Mitch’s passing was unexpected and has left his family heartbroken. While words may not fully capture his life, his memory will live on through his children and the many lives he touched.

A service to honor Mitch’s life will be held on a date to be determined.
