James Charles Lent

James Charles Lent, 79, passed away Wednesday in Wichita. He was born November 10, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Robert and Regina (Jensen) Lent. James was united in marriage to Connie Baker on October 9, 1971 in Wichita. He enjoyed his time in the Air Force between 1965 and 1969. For twenty-five years he enjoyed his time with Pizza Hut as a systems programmer. James was a joker and enjoyed playing jokes on family and friends. He was a provider for his family and loved all of his family. Survivors include wife Connie, daughters Stephanie (Andrew) Elliott and Melissa (Aaron) Perry, grandchildren Evan Lent, Broc Perry, Tatum Elliott, and Ashlyn Elliott. Preceded in death by sister Lorraine Velghe and brother David Lent. No services will be held at this time.
