James Leslie Obituary
James' work life was very important to him. He was chief engineer at Helene Curtis in Chicago, IL. for most of his career until retiring in 2002. He was also a mason for many years.
On March 6, 1964, he married Shirley Leslie (Board). She survives. Also surviving is one son: Curt Leslie of Poplar Bluff, MO; one brother: Harry Leslie of Saltillo, MS; one sister: Lynette (L.D) Shotts, Cincinnati, OH; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother: Sam Leslie.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Ash Hill Cemetery East in Fisk, MO, with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com

I am saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He and Shirl showed Hazel and me the grandest time when we visited with them. I'll never forget that time with them and how gracious they were to us. They so went out of their way to show us the sights to see and for us to just have fun!
I've always loved and enjoyed being with Uncle Calvin and Aunt Ross' family. I greatly looked forward to their summer visits when growing up in Ballardsville.
