Just happened to see this obituary under Wyandotte, Michigan obituaries. Our family (the Stevens) lived 2 doors from Walt, Olga and the boys. We were younger (I was born in '57, my sister in '59), so we really didn't know Jimmie much. I remember seeing Walt, Olga and Richie working in the yard and on all the beautiful flowers and plants. I remember also the beautiful plants inside the house when I would accompany my Mom over to the house. My mom, Gloria Stevens (almost 97!), loved working outside also, so my sister and I helped Mom tend to our flowers and plants as well. I'll let my Mom and sister know and will also pass this info along to Mike Myrand, who lived next door to us and was closer in age to Jimmie and Richie, as well as Mike's sister Denise, who was my age.
