James Obe "Jim" Logsdon

James "Jim" Obe Logsdon, of Union, Kentucky, was born May 17, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and passed away December 5, 2025. He was the son of the late Charles Russell Logsdon and Geneva (née Alred).

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary "Margie" (née Lehman); his second wife, Troy (née Smith); and his son's Aaron and Scott Logsdon.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his daughter Tara Logsdon, brother Robert Logsdon (Charlyn); sister-in-law, Karen Carroll; stepson, Rod Baker (Pam); and stepdaughter, Angel Domaschko (Jamie). He was "Papaw" to grandchildren Rayvon, Rashawn, Jake, Jared, Travis, Josh, and Izabella, and great-grandchildren Kehlani, Ma'Kiela, Colson and Cooper - a role that he cherished.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later retired from Kroger after more than 25 years as a controller. He believed in working hard, saying what you meant, and taking care of family. Jim was known for great sense of humor, his tough-love advice, and his love of golf and being outdoors - the simple things that always brought him peace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service beginning at 12:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

He leaves behind memories of strength, honesty, and laughter. His presence will be deeply missed, and his stories will continue to be shared with smiles for years to come.
