James R. Lonneman, Sr., age 75, of Temple Terrace, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Melech Hospice House. He was born on April 20, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH to his parents, Harry Lonneman, Sr. and Alice McCoy. James was the sixth of nine children. He married Mary Kay Fisher in Cincinnati, OH on November 18, 1961. They had four children. He attended University of Cincinnati and graduated in 1969 with an Associate in Science. He served in the Army for two years. A veteran of Vietnam, he earned a Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed horse racing, reading, golfing and crossword puzzles. James will be remembered by his loving wife and their children: Nick (Lori), David (Terri), Jamie Fagerstrom (Tim), and Jake (Ana). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
