James F. Lydon

James F. Lydon, 80, of Natrona Heights, passed away at home on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 9, 1945, in Pittsburgh to the late Martin and Loretta Lydon. James has lived the past 25 years in Natrona Heights and prior to that in Pittsburgh. He was a mechanic/supervisor for Rudy Molnar Service Station for 40 years. James was of the Christian faith and a member of N.H.R.A. and an avid race car driver. He graduated from Peabody High School. James was a muscle car collector, and drag racing was his passion. Survivors include his life partner, Patricia A. Sloane; and beloved daughter, Melissa (Scott) Gregg, of Sparta, NJ. Also surviving are beloved grandson, Max; and beloved nephew, Jan Cavacini of Shaler Township. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Lydon; and sister, Pat Cavacini.
